Correspondence, 1946-1954, concerning Eric Lambert's novel "Twenty-thousand thieves": includes letters from other authors and his literary agent in London, James Ludovici and some undated letters from Eric Lambert. Also correspondence 1945-1966. Includes letter from Singapore, 18 Sept. 1945, written immediately after defeat of Japanese, describing condition of Australian soldiers etc. Working manuscript of "Twenty thousand thieves"; diary 1941, which includes entries used as basis for book; scrapbook of items relating to kibbutz, also used as basis for book; original photos of Lambert in Middle East. Also includes ms of two novels and short stories; scrapbook of press-cuttings and published items.
